Delete Account

Deleting GentleShe is permanent. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your account or stored records.

How to request deletion

If the Delete Account option is available in your version of GentleShe, use that option from the app’s Profile or Legal & Privacy area and follow the confirmation steps.

You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@gentleshe.com from the email address associated with your GentleShe account. Use the subject GentleShe Account Deletion Request.

What is deleted

After a valid deletion request is verified and completed, GentleShe will delete or de-identify personal information associated with the account, including profile information and user-created records, except where limited retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or backup purposes.

Backups and limited retention

Information contained in system backups may remain temporarily until those backups are replaced or expire through the normal backup lifecycle. Limited security or legal records may also be retained where permitted or required by law.
